So I can't remember the last time I used a real tuner. I've always tuned either with an online tuner, or someone's piano. Lately I've been listening to some old recordings, and often times, in these recordings, the violins are tuned much sharper than what I'm used to. I'm absolutely certain that these violins are actually sharper, not just the way the people play. Can someone verify to see if these online tuners are accurate? Thanks! Here's an example.

just check your website. G, D and A are all only a tiny bit sharp at .18, while the E is a bit sharper than the rest.
