Historical Chinrest

April 27, 2014 at 04:49 PM · I will really appreciate any information on where to acquire an early 19th century strip-model historical chinrest, like the one Shunske Sato used in this video:

I have found some variations, like

Dale Stuckenbruck

and

Dave Swarbrick (Swarb)

and I am wondering if anyone can point me towards other similar designs out there?

I designed a chin rest which looks very similar to 'The Swarb'....Yeah, I simply removed the cup part of the rest by sawing away with a hack saw.
