I have been following Brian Lisus with his posts on making the Quartet of Peace, since I one day hope to make a violin.

I see now that he is living in Santa Barbara CA and is offering Violin Making Classes for the Hobbyist.
Thought I would pass this on for any beginners out there looking for help making their first instrument a good one.

I hope this helps some people who have dreams of making a violin.
My father made a violin with Brian Lisus and it is beautiful, I love playing it. Cape Town really misses him! I hope many people in California get to experience the magic of turning raw wood into an instrument under Brian's expert eye.
