I did a search on my violin on this sight and the only name that came up was Emanuel Wilfer. I have a Johann Wilfer violin. Are they one in the same? I do know that my violin was from a German shop. It's not old by any means, but has mellowed in the years I've had it. When I purchased it I was a taking lessons and the luthier recommended this violin since it would allow room to grow my skills as I advanced.
