Hello Madi,
Mendelssohn's violin concerto in e minor has a very beutiful 2nd movement.
Here is a link of it being played.

And here is a link to the sheet music.

Best of luck in your search,
John
Ditto for second movement in Bruch concerto in G and second movement of Mozart concerto in G.
Also: Melodie by Gluck (Kreisler version); girl with the flaxen hair; ave maria (Gounod or Schubert); Adagio by Mozart... I could go on :)
Try the Grave by Benda, it's the second movement of his violin concerto. You can find it played by Yuri Bashmet on viola (YouTube). Good luck finding the score. *grin*
Second movement of the Tchaikovski, aka "Canzonetta"
Second movement of the Wieniawski, aka "Romance."
Now that I think of it, Anne-Sophie Mutter has an album called "Romance." Anything on there.
I like Elgar Chanson de Matin. Also look into various French impressionist things.
Dvorak's Romance Op 11.
[Edit: technically appreciably more difficult than the Paganini Cantabile mentioned in the next post]
Paganini Cantabile. Check out Kogan on youtube. Not too technically difficult - a notch about Meditation from Thais maybe.
I suggest Schuberts Ave Maria and E.Elgars Salut d' Amour..
Raff "Cavatina" is also nice. A friend of mine introduced me to it recently and it is always a hit.
Greetings,
Glazunov Meditation.

Amd perhaps the second movement of Prokofiev's second violin
concerto:www.youtube.com/watch
I don't think anything gets more romantic than the Beethoven Romances. That's just my personal taste.:)
My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.
I`m Dion a threwin up
by Rabbi Burns.
J.S Bach - Arioso, sinfonium from the cantata - "Ich steh mit einem Fus im Grabe"
I'm told some people use it for weddings, others for funerals. Either way it's just beautiful.
Debussy/Heifetz-Beau Soir
Faure-Bercuese
Elgar-Salut d'Amour
Schumann-Traumerei

The Romance from Shostakovich's "Gadfly" Suite. It's got a lovely solo violin part.
We're playing that Suite at our next concert in November, but the parts are not expected to arrive until about a week before. Hmm.
