She happens to mention that she'd been recording the Charles Ives Violin Sonatas and that the CD is in post-production.

Didn't hear anything about it until now, but I'm looking forward to this too!
Yes!
and can anyone one inform me as to why her concert calendar hasn't been updated in nearly two years?
I can hardly wait for the Ives Sonatas to hit the shelves. It's great to see such a great repertoire being played by this young lady. She's definitely right at the top of my favorite violinist list.

It Dosn't Matter How You Learned, All That Counts is That You Play!
I remember Hilary making quite a beautiful impression at the Troy Music Hall recital in '07 when she played the 3rd Sonata.
Hilary is amazing. I love her showmanship as much as her playing. It would be great to see her live!
I was at Hilary Hahn's recital in NYC Town Hall, summer of 2009. She played Ives and Ysaye sonatas, and Brahms and Bartok Romanian folk dances. She was amazing: flawless intonation and techniques, great tone. She also has the most graceful and poised setup.
I saw the same program at Purchase College--Whole concert was great, but the Ives pieces were a blessing!
This should be a fun album. I hope she also records the Ysaye sonatas sometime.
Any one heard anything new? I've been looking online but haven't found anything. The Tchaikovsky CD was released in Japan prior to the states. Haven't found anything like that.
It's officially going to drop October 11th!

I was pleased to read from Chris about the new Ives recording. Although I was rather surprised it is definitely true. I look forward greatly to hearing the works played by such an accomplished, professional and well-balanced team.
