Earlier this year, I saw program called "From the Top" on PBS. I think it had been taped back in 2008. One of the featured performers was a [then] ten-year-old violinist named Alice Ivy Pemberton. She absolutely blew everyone away (including Gil Shaham, with whom she played a duet -- and kept up with him every step of the way!).
Does anyone out there know her, or has anyone heard her play recently? I'm just curious about how she's doing.
She was a finalist in the junior division of the Menuhin competition this year.

She was in the audience at Rachel Barton Pine's concert at Symphony Space in NY last year! I remembered her from From The Top as well! I hope she does well, too! It's great to see she knows folk and bluegrass as well as classical on the violin.
