Does any of you know if the low priced models of the Gewa line are worth for their prices? models like "Allegro" of "Ideale" seem good, they even come with Thomastik Strings and of course, one of those famous Gewa cases, I also would like some information about the professional models of Gewa instruments... I can't even find their price rate, but I want to know if they are really Professionals, for what I have read, Gliga instruments are very good too... could you compare these two brands to decide which one should I decide for... I'm actually a Violist, but it would be enough to read some opinions from Violinists...
FWIW, I've got a Gliga viola and like it very much. It's a 16" -- and I started out on a 16.5" that sounded fabulous.

I play on a 2003 Gliga instrument, made by the founder of the company. It's a great instrument, especially for the value - everybody is quite impressed by it.
