I have just purchased a violin labelled Anton Hüller.  It seems quite old.  Doen s anyone know anything about this maker?  Many thanks.

Hi Robbie , I  am also in the process of acquiring one violin which reads

Anton Hüller, Nr. 188, Graslitz (Böhmen)

Musik Instrumente und Saiten.

(Niemals di Nummer 188 weglassen)

Does your violin have the same or a similar label? Did you find out anything else about the maker and the time when he made these violins? Any information will help.

Also, most importantly, how does your violin sound? Are the G and D open string tones bright or dark? Thanks, I greatly appreciate your patience.
