Robert Levin

Robert Levin is a respected arts consultant and manager with over forty years of experience in the performing arts in the areas of artist management, orchestra management, public relations, concert presentation and production, special event planning, and artistic and performance consulting. A graduate of The Juilliard School with bachelor and master of music degrees, Mr. Levin was a professional violinist and active chamber musician up until the time he began managing the careers of fellow performing artists in 1977. For several years, he worked in conjunction with established New York concert management firms, including ICM Artists, Columbia Artists Management, and Shaw Concerts. In 1979, Mr. Levin formed his own artist management company, Robert Levin Associates, through which he and his staff managed, promoted and marketed concert artists worldwide. Throughout the years, Mr. Levin has managed and presented many acclaimed concert artists, including pianists Jorge Federico Osorio, Stephen Hough, Bella Davidovich, Jeffrey Siegel, Santiago Rodriguez, David Golub and Malcolm Frager; violinists Elmar Oliveira, Alena Baeva, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Frank Huang, Jennifer Frautschi, Bruce Dukov, Mark Kaplan and Daniel Heifetz; cellists Stephen Kates, Bion Tsang, Colin Carr and Ralph Kirshbaum; guitarists Eliot Fisk and Michael Lorrimer; flutist Mathieu Dufour; hornists Dale Clevenger and David Jolley; clarinetist Giora Feidman; conductors Jorge Mester and Ronald Zollman; the Bach Aria Group; and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players.

Mr. Levin produced and presented numerous concerts in major New York City venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall, and the Tisch Center for the Arts. As a consultant, he conducted several highly successful promotional, public relations and executive search campaigns. He also served as Operations Manager of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and on the Board of Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University, and was Director of the Music Institute of Chicago’s prestigious Academy program.
