Rebecca Appert

I am a professional violinist who currently teaches and freelances in the Michigan and Ohio areas. Faculty with the Ann Arbor Suzuki Institute and the Chelsea Center for the Arts. Earned a degree in Violin Performance from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music as well as two years of graduate study with Piotr Milewski there as well.
I teach both Suzuki and traditional lessons with experience in all ages 3 up to adult beginner.
Orchestras I have played with are: The Richmond (IN) Symphony, Ohio Valley Symphony, Huntington Symphony, Clermont Philharmonic, Springfield Symphony, Kentucky Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, Louisville Symphony, Ann Arbor Symphony, Jackson Symphony, Adrian Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphony, Lansing Symphony, Southwest Michigan Symphony, Rochester Symphony, Livonia Symphony, Battle Creek Symphony, Westshore Symphony.
Rebecca maintains an active teaching and performing career with a small studio in Ann Arbor. Freelancing in the Michigan area with orchestras, managing the Horizon Strings Group and exploring alternative styles such as fiddling, bluegrass and Celtic genres.
