Matthias Oestringer

Violinist and violist Matthias Östringer is an experienced music educator, who has taught from 1993 in several music institutions in Germany. Since 2002 he is based in Singapore.

As a performing artist he has given concerts and solo recitals in Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland and Turkey.
In Singapore, Matthias teaches at Fidelio Music Studio which he founded in 2009 and is lecturer for principle studies (violin) at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. He is a member of the newly founded re: sound Chamber Orchestra and plays regularly with re: mix and the Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra
