Susan Spier

Was a tenured violinist (Montreal Symphony) and a freelancer in Montreal and Ottawa. Moved to Toronto, where I ran my private studio, Creative Strings,from 2002-2020. I have written the scale book Creative Strings: Scales with Susan, based on my own teaching experience.
Now retired from teaching, and also a musiclogist. I currently give lectures in English and/or French on various music related topics, and enjoy playing chamber music with colleagues.
