Anna Dolan

She currently plays for the Paducah Symphony and with the band Field of Kings.

Other local groups she has played with have included Vampire Squid, Bourbon Baroque, The Commonwealth Musicians, The Highland Chamber Players, Southeast Christian Church Orchestra, Street Noise, Better Than Bedlam.

December 1, 2011 and December 7, 2011 Anna played with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Cincinnati and Evansville for their Winter Tour.

On April 13, 2011 and May 11, 2011 Anna played with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Louisville Palace and the Evansville Centre for the Beethoven's Last Night Tour.

In May 2010 and 2011 Anna played at Abbey Road on the River. She has played with Abbey Road Live!, All You Need Is Love, Itchycoo Park, and was part of the LOVE show.

In the Summer of 2010 Anna played a two week tour with Vampire Squid in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Boston, Philadelphia, Chapel Hill NC, Nashville, Lexington,, Huntsville, and Atlanta. With the assistance of Charlie Blanton on bass, Anna won 1st place at the Lanesville Heritage Fiddle Contest in September of 2010 and 2011.

In March/April of 2011 Anna played in orchestra for the last run of Southeast Christian Church's acclaimed Easter Pageant. The pageant had been in production the past 15 years.

In 2008 Anna recorded the violin part to "All For You" with Better Than Bedlam on their self-named album Better Than Bedlam. In early 2010 Anna recorded the violin parts to "Kuntry Pluckers" and "You Are The One" on the still unreleased album by Street Noise.

Anna also plays gigs regularly doing weddings, church masses, Christmas pageants, Easter pageants, and other performances.

Currently she teaches a violin studio of 11 students ages 5-18.

When she isn't playing gigs you may find her working at the Kentucky Center for the Arts' Development Department where she is the Development Information Manager.
