Myra MacLeod

I started as a music student at age 7 with my sisters and mom. I chose violin, as a student of classical music, but as an adult, I veered off towards fiddling after a fiddler's music grabbed my heart. Years of backup folk playing, more lessons, work and family and then I landed a job teaching Suzuki violin while playing for contra dances.
I meant to be a painter, but now have no regrets for veering off towards teaching. 30 years of teaching and performing, and stacks of ideas up my sleeve impel me to share.
