Originally from Florida, Monty Bloom began his journey with the violin at the age of four, demonstrating prodigious talent that would soon catapult him onto major stages. At just eight years old, Monty made his solo debut with orchestra, marking the beginning of an illustrious career that has included performances on major television networks and collaborations with numerous orchestras across the United States. Monty refined his artistry at the prestigious Eastman School of Music, where he graduated with distinction and served as Concertmaster of the Eastman Philharmonia. His primary violin teachers were Alvin Rudnitsky, Thomas Moore, and Charles Castleman. Currently based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Monty is a sought-after artist, captivating audiences with his solo and chamber music performances. Beyond his classical endeavors, Monty is equally at home with the electric violin, bringing a contemporary flair to his versatile repertoire.
