I recently obtained one of Mr. Injeian's Gauerneri models from 2006. The responsiveness of this violin, its balance and its tone are incredible. This fiddle does exactly what you tell it to do. I have had one of his "From the Workshop of" violins since 2002, and it is a great violin made by his apprentice under his supervision, but I have wanted one of his personal models ever since I tried one during my search back then. His instruments are not cheap, but are less expensive than some of the other modern masters. He is based in Pittsburgh and works frontm beautiful, very old wood. I even saw the wood and learned its origin my violin was built from. Anyone else out there own an Injeian? I'm telling you, this thing is incredible.
