Snow SV400 vs D Z Strad #509

July 30, 2017, 6:12 PM · Hi everyone
I'm a adult beginner, a new bee here and this my first post.
After months of search and many reading, I come to narrow my choice to these 2 models: Snow SV400 and D Z Strad Maestro #509. If you ever had a hand on, listened to or owned one of these models, please share your insight and experience.
Thank you all in advance.

If you're a total newbie to violin, I'd rent from a local store. If you already have some playing experience, I'd try a variety of affordable violins and pick your fave.

I'm not sure how to get my post in the Discussion section. I just start an adventure into violin and thinking of getting one that last me to the intermediate or advanced level. Not sure how a good violin sounds like, so I have to rely on reliable sources of information from forums like this and Youtube. I visited local music store twice, but no chance to catch anyone there who was able to demo.
