On Thursday violinist Hilary Hahn announced the cancellation of two upcoming recitals with pianist Lang Lang, due to her continued recovery from a double pinched nerve that has persisted since July of 2024.

The concerts were scheduled for December 4 in Philadelphia and December 7 at Carnegie Hall, and they will not be rescheduled this season, her team posted on Facebook.
Hahn initially had taken a seven-month hiatus in late 2024 and early 2025 to recover from the condition, making a welcome return to the stage in February 2025. However, in August the condition once again prompted Hahn to cancel her performances through November. This is an extension of that latest hiatus.
We wish Hilary well in her recovery and applaud her efforts to address her health.
