Daniel Lozakovich performed the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
- Vera Files: "Lozakovich’s approach was characterized not by power or a desire to dominate, but by great modesty, tonal beauty and lyrical introspection. His violin attempted to seamlessly integrate into the overall soundscape, especially in the first movement..."
Aubree Oliverson performed the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra.
- NJArts.net: "Even at the swiftest moments of the virtuosic cadenza, Oliverson led with strong rhythms, effective accelerations and tricky articulations."
Vilde Frang performed the Elgar Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Antonio Pappano.
- Bach Track: "Frang’s first entry immediately struck a note of introspection, with the hint of a furrowed brow, a world of veiled, misty reminiscences. With a mellow, nutty tone, and a husky viola-like darkness on the G string of her 1734 'Rode' Guarnerius, she sang and sighed her way through the opening two movements..."
Karen Gomyo performed the Dvorak Violin Concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
- Limelight: "At 42, she combines an attractive and inclusive stage manner with a spotless technique....Dvorák’s lovely melodies sat comfortably beneath her fingers for this three-movement concerto – the first two played without pause – with its folksong influences, melting adagio and finale of catchy dance rhythms"
The Balourdet Quartet performed the opening concert for the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth's 2024-25 season.
- Texas Classical Review: "The quartet’s performance (of Bartók’s Fifth String Quartet) brought out the dramatic, rhythmic vibrancy of the work, clearly displaying their comfort with the idiom. The first and last movements call for a very wide variety of textures, techniques, tempos, and dynamics, which were deftly handled."
