Christian Tetzlaff has performed the Brahms Violin Concerto some 200 times over 40 years - but he still likes to "live dangerously" with the piece, when he takes the stage. In Part 2 of this interview, done in collaboration with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra when Tetzlaff came to Los Angeles to perform the Brahms in December 2023, he described exactly what he meant by that. He also played and talked about his year-2000 Stefan-Peter Greiner violin, which he's had for the last 11 years. "If somebody gives me a Strad that sounds better than it, then I will immediately play the Strad!"
