Augustin Hadelich Offers His Arrangement of Orange Blossom Special for Free
During the past year, violinist Augustin Hadelich has been wowing audiences with his own arrangement of the Orange Blossom Special, and earlier this week he posted the sheet music on his website, for free!
Download it here.
"By popular request, I’ve uploaded the sheet music to my arrangement of Orange Blossom Special to my website!" Augustin said on his Instagram page. "I’m not responsible for any speed related injuries while playing this! ??"
He also offered this video, which syncs a recording of himself playing the arrangement with the sheet music:
"The performance that you hear in this video was recorded last week in Pittsburgh," Augustin said. "I love the reaction of audiences when I play this piece in America! This one had a particularly nice 'yeehaw.'"
"I wrote 'homage to Michael Cleveland' in the score because I incorporated ideas and licks from his version, and it was really after watching his incredible performance of the tune that I knew I had to play it myself!" Augustin said.

Michael Cleveland is a bluegrass fiddle player from Indiana who was born blind and lost most of his hearing in one ear due to a childhood infection. He started violin at age four in a local Suzuki program and has had an enormously successful career in bluegrass fiddle, winning a Grammy award for his album Tall Fiddler and receiving the 2022 National Heritage Fellowship awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts. Here is Michael's version from 2011:
What a lot of inspiration, all around - enjoy listening, and playing!
