Video Interview with Violinist Augustin Hadelich, Part 1

December 14, 2023, 11:25 AM · Recently I had the wonderful privilege of interviewing violinist Augustin Hadelich while he was in Los Angeles to perform the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO), and I wanted to share this interview, which I did in partnership with LACO. He talked about his musical upbringing, and he talked at length about the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. Next week I'll bring you Part 2, in which he talked about the 1744 "Leduc/Szerying" Guarneri "del Gesù" violin that he has been playing now since 2020.

Enjoy!
