Finalists Named in the 2019 Montreal International Violin Competition
Congratulations to the six finalists named on Sunday in the 2019 Montreal International Violin Competition!

They are:
- Elli Choi of the U.S.
- Anna Lee of the U.S./South Korea
- Christine Lim of the U.S./South Korea
- Fumika Mohri of Japan/Germany
- Johanna Pichlmair of Austria
- Hao Zhou of the U.S.
Finalists will perform concertos with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, led by Alexander Shelley. Click here for the livestream of the Finals, which will be broadcast at 7:30 p.m. ET Tuesday and 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Jury members for the 2019 competition include Zarin Mehta (President of the jury), Pierre Amoyal, Kim Kashkashian, Boris Kuschnir, Cho-Liang Lin, Mihaela Martin, Barry Shiffman, Dmitry Sitkovetsky and Pavel Vernikov.

June 3, 2019 at 08:25 AM · I'm sure these are all superb musicians. I had the pleasure to see Fumika Mohri live 4 years ago at the finals of the previous violin edition of the Queen Elisabeth Competition. she placed 6th there. she played a beautiful Sibelius. keep an eye on her!
