I have been making and restoring violins, violas and cellos for over thirty years. After graduating from the Newark School of Violin Making in Newark, UK, I gained valuable experience working as a maker and restorer in a number of workshops in England, Hong Kong and Canada before settling in Minneapolis, MN. I currently teach violin making at Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, MN. In my Minneapolis workshop I focus mostly on making instruments in the traditional Cremonese method. My commitment to doing quality work has led me to attending the renowned Oberlin Violin Makers' workshop annually since 2012. I am a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers as well as the Violin Society of America.
