Contrasting movement to Bach Adagio(Sonata no.1)?
I decided on doing the Bach Adagio but for one college that I plan on auditioning for requires a contrasting movement and I was wondering what would be a good piece. (My audition for this college is on March 17)
The usual movement is the Fuga but I have grave concerns about there being enough time for you to master it in time for a March audition. The g minor Gigue is a good contrast and much more learnable.
Ask your teacher.
I see you picked the Adagio over the Chaconne, which I assume was a wise choice.
