Bow rehair

Edited: June 10, 2023, 3:18 PM · I recently relocated to the Charlotte North Carolina area and need my Albert Nürnberger viola bow rehaired. Any recommendations as to whom I should contact in the area? Thanks!

June 10, 2023, 4:05 PM · Right there in Charlotte would have advantages, but Jerry Pasewicz is not too far away in Raleigh and is legitimately famous for his bow work amongst folks ITB, and runs a good rehair-by-mail service https://www.netrehair.com/.

Pasewicz is top-notch for bow work, including rehairs.

It's the outliers one needs to be careful about, if one has a nice bow.

I don't know much about Davidson Violins, but the bridge pictured on their website, bearing their stamp looks a lot less than spectacular!
