VLM Diamond keeps ungluing

Edited: May 20, 2023, 2:50 PM · The black cushion of the Viva la Musica Diamond keeps ungluing at the edges, because of the cheap glue they used. I've tried UHU Universal glue, it works for a few weeks but the problem comes back.
What glue is ideal for this?

Edited: May 20, 2023, 2:24 PM · I personally think a silicone glue is going to be your best bet, because it will seep up into the foam, and fill the gaps. Probably only necessary to use it around the edges though.

(You can just get 100% silicone caulk from a home improvement store)

May 21, 2023, 5:23 AM · The glue you used is a resin that hardens. Super glue forms a crystalline structure and it can fracture if sheared.

Given that the foam moves, I would think a more flexible glue like silicon would provide better results.

One last consideration is that some glues have difficulty adhering to other glues. Cleaning the surfaces to be glued may be important. (For example, super glue will not adhere to super glue)

Edited: May 21, 2023, 8:26 PM · They all have their issues. Wolfs don't do this, but the rubber on the feet gets destroyed and also the tilt won't hold.

May 29, 2023, 1:57 AM · My vote goes for Contact Adhesive. Very strong, and gives a flexible joint. It may smell for a while though.
