I am building a cold molded wood/composite violin case. I know of a number of ways to make a relatively tight seal between the body and lid of the case but I would rather use the extruded mating edge trim found on so many different manufacturers cases today. I have been unsuccessful in locating a source for this trim. Is anyone aware of a retail source for this material?

Jokes aside, I think it will be difficult to find what you are looking for, my perception is that those profiles are custom-made and you would likely have to order a few thousand...
I suspected the gaskets were likely a proprietary extrusion for the companies that use them.
Thank you for your advice.
