Self-deprecating memery aside, I guess they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery -- which is basically true about this piece, where the homage-paying is deliberate and written all over it. Of course I'm not at his level and I know that. Still, I spent all this time editing together this nice score video, so that you can tell exactly when and where I make mistakes...
Anyway, I thought it was a nice piece and a pretty solid performance. I did perform it in a recital, but the recording I got there was pretty terrible, so I re-recorded it later.
