November 16, 2022, 8:26 AM · Such very sad news, thanks for posting this, we did not know. Atarah was a remarkable woman, a superbly skilled musician, and an indefatigable and incredibly enthusiastic character who put everyone at their ease when we used to go to the house for ABRSM exams. We remember her hospitality, the drinks, sweets and mince pies at Christmas which some French children had never tasted before. Sadly Covid put a stop to that, and when I spoke to her a few months ago she said she didn't think that real in person exams would resume in our area.
We will miss her greatly. I shall write to Douglas.
