Rare violin case by Stradivari on display

December 20, 2021, 7:20 AM · Last Saturday a case attributed to Stradivari circa 1680 was put on permanent display in Cremona's Museo del Violino.

At the moment, only four cases attributed with any certainly to the great maker are cataloged worldwide, and this one, dubbed the "Milan" case because its provenance, has just one other twin, on display at the Chi Mei Museum in Taiwan.
