How to watch Janine Jansen Stradivari documentary in US?
I would pay for view on a US cable channel or even purchase the documentary if I had a link to a vendor.
Does anybody know how to watch
"Janine Jansen: Falling for Stradivari"
Thanks for asking! I’ve been wondering the same.
Hi, I was curious and after lots of clicks I found that it premieres in the UK tomorrow on a channel called sky arts.
Thank you for that link. Here's what I've learned so far: "Now TV is a region-locked service, and is usually only available in the UK and Italy. However, with the right VPN, you'll be able to sign in and stream content from anywhere in the world." So in the morning, when I'm more alert, I'll find out what 'the right VPN' means. I appreciate your help, Carlos!
" Now TV isn't supported in the USA, but with VPN & Smart DNS it's possible...except the activation because the account creation requires a UK Credit Card...."
@David, I remember reading about a masked/virtual credit card service that allows you to also fake your billing information. I'll look around and if its a reputable site, i will report back.
Is this the CD "12 Stradivari" that is due to be released in the US on Nov. 5?
Andrew, what I understand from my reading of THE STRAD is that I'm wanting to watch a full-length video that documents the making of the CD. I've had recordings before comparing famous violins, but this seemed to me to add much more information. There are links to a "trailer" of the video and audio excerpts from the CD, but the video film -- an hour + in length -- at this point seems limited to UK distribution.
It seems to havre a link to the IMDB streaming service but is not available yet in the US.
Just got back from a chamber orchestra rehearsal so haven't had a chance to watch the documentary live, but my wife recorded it. I'll watch it tomorrow.
The Janine Jansen Stradivari documentary is being repeated on the Sky Arts channel, in the UK, next Wednesday, October 6 at 9 pm.
