Standard weight for fraction size bows
Is there a benchmark or standard weight for fraction size bows, say 1/4, 1/2, 3/4? I often read full size bow should weight around 60g, but never find any guidance on what should be the appropriate weight for a fraction size bow. I think it will be helpful for parents who shop good bow for their kids. There are just so many substandard bows in the market.
I was looking for this same info a couple months ago!
Is it foolish to expect fractional bow weight to be roughly proportional to length? I guess there are parts that are of constant dimension such as the diameter of the frog screw, but aside from that I would expect pretty good linear relationship.
