Standard weight for fraction size bows

July 19, 2021, 11:15 AM · Is there a benchmark or standard weight for fraction size bows, say 1/4, 1/2, 3/4? I often read full size bow should weight around 60g, but never find any guidance on what should be the appropriate weight for a fraction size bow. I think it will be helpful for parents who shop good bow for their kids. There are just so many substandard bows in the market.

Try this thread - though it's titled about length, some of the replies have weight and balance point info. I cannot personally vouch for the accuracy except that my child's bows did hit those numbers.
