Bach dances (cello suites/S&P's)

May 18, 2021, 9:51 AM · Hi all,
Would someone kindly generate a list of the sort of characteristics of each of the dances that appear in Bach's cello suite and sonatas and partitas? Currently learning the first cello suite, and would like to have something to draw from.

Thanks in advance.

I find Wikipedia quite reliable in fields where I have expertise. And this article is short but really quite good.

I think that is what inspired me to work on the first 4 quite seriously some years ago (on cello).
