New Bow and Strings

March 11, 2021, 2:05 PM · So today I got a new violin bow and new Dominant strings. What are some things I can do to help with the adjustment, both for me and the instrument?

March 11, 2021, 8:38 PM · Play on it...? In my experience, that's the only way to get used to a new bow. I have heard of a method to make strings break-in faster where you play scales in different positions so that you press on the whole length of the string.
