February 16, 2021, 2:01 AM · Hello,

I'm anxiously awaiting to try one for myself but would love to hear thoughts from those of you who have used a Pirastro KorfkerCradle.

February 17, 2021, 11:57 AM · From what I see here they are quite different.
Edited: February 17, 2021, 12:10 PM · Ah, I see.. On the violin they look the same, if you don't pay close attention... The Cradle has a huge mounting.
February 19, 2021, 10:26 AM · There is also a huge price difference. It's really about the attach points, the rest itself is the same. I have a Korfkerrest so I won't comment further since I've never used the cradle.
February 20, 2021, 1:47 PM · I played with the KorfkerRest for awhile but then found a used Cradle and purchased it. It's pretty amazing and the level of comfort it provides was worth the price for me. Took me a long time to get the right fit and it was super frustrating at times, but I found the sweet spot finally. I also find the sound of my violin more resonant as well.
