August 1, 2020, 11:33 AM · As far as shoulder rests go, it's the best one I've used. Super light (30g) and highly adjustable, especially with the ergo pack that now comes with it. The feet are the best I've seen as well. Very wide and stable. I've 'bent' mine to the maximum extent, and it does hold it's shape. It can be a bit tricky to set up, but it's not too bad once you get the hang of it.

I haven't used the cradle.

August 1, 2020, 2:29 PM · It makes you sound like Heifetz. The amount of dollars you spend is the amount of hours you will have of practice once you buy this rest.

At the time she wrote this, I was struggling to find a setup that worked for me. Laurie's review persuaded me to give the Korfker a go, and a year on, I have to say I agree with pretty much every word she said - thank you, Laurie!

I would also add in addition to Laurie's observations that the rest allows my violin to resonate more so it sounds better.
