CapitalMusic2008 on Ebay

June 18, 2020, 11:17 AM · Let me start by saying i have a violin that I love and cherish, but I also like to pick up inexpensive fiddles for experimentation (setup, etc). I have bought a few from Yitamusic on EBay before and I’ve been satisfied for what I got for the money.

Has anyone had any experience with CapitalMusic2008 on EBay? They are another Chinese seller. I’m interested in picking up an inexpensive fiddle to study construction and tinker with regraduation from an educational standpoint.

I am not looking to replace my current instrument.

Thanks!

I know...I know. I just hope I get some useful responses beforehand.

Good point. I may try a “gluey” experiment like Sam Z. did, to help understand violin modes and resonance.
