Edited: May 11, 2020, 6:03 PM · Uff ... that's awful. I mean intolerable. Sounds like some kind of digital parlor trick, the kind of thing you can cook up in a DAW. It's too bad, too. That guy can actually play. Maybe he listened to too much Peter Frampton when he was young. I smell a "Two Set Violin" episode coming. You can still buy synthesizers with Vocoder technology.
May 11, 2020, 6:02 PM · The technology to use voice to modulate an instrument has been around for a very long time. May 11, 2020, 6:36 PM · Definitely a really bad parlor trick with a DAW or vocoder or one of the automated “singing” software apps. I’ve been recording digital music for 20 years and this was horrific!
