Members' Posts

Edited: May 10, 2020, 5:23 AM · If I remember correctly, this site used to have a facility to view a member's own past posts.

I can't see a way to do that now - is it possible to list all your own previous posts?

Edited: May 10, 2020, 6:41 PM · For discussion threads, you type your name into the search box. That's how I do it. The transition from active discussion thread to archived is a mysterious one, however. There seems to be some kind of limbo state where you cannot find your old post. It has been discussed previously (link provided below) whether the search box functions properly, but as far as I know it's just a tailored Google search and the issue is probably just indexing.

For blog entries, just click on your name.

May 12, 2020, 7:44 AM · Ha! What this forum really needs is an ignore function so you could turn of certain members from your view permanently. Lots of forums allow that and it's a great feature.

May 13, 2020, 4:36 AM · I second Michael's opinion. Although in general people in this forum are quite kind and give sound advice, I think that an option for ignoring some users and/or concrete threads would be welcome and would make this forum more pleasant.
