The most reliable Double Bass case ever?

January 2, 2020, 4:46 PM · Apparently Carlos Ghosn was smuggled out of Japan in a double bass case. Perhaps if we could identify the brand we would not need to worry about instruments being damaged in transit??

But, it is also said that the flight from Japan to Turkey was in Ghosn's own private jet. Once on board and airborne the gentleman would be able to leave the uncomfortable confinement of a double bass case for the comfort of a real seat for the remainder of that leg of his journey to Lebanon. It seems he probably wouldn't have been in the case for all that long.

At this point in time it's all rather speculative, but nevertheless it is a good question that the OP has asked - what sort of double bass case would be able to accommodate a 5'6" person of medium build for a couple of hours or so.
