I am a self taught adult learner and have been playing for pleasure for a little while, but I fancy measuring my progress by going for a Level 1 Performance Award with the London Collage of Music.
One of the peices I have selected to play is simply titled “Two Minuets” by Mozart. It would be helpful to hear it played properly to guide me, but I cant find where the second part is from. Minuet 1 seems to be from K315g but I cant see where the second bit comes from. Does anyone know this song to give any advice?
My other query was generally about if anyone had any experiance of the performance awards and the video submissions? I have videos of a couple of the peices ready but the’yre not perfect, but as close as I’m likely to get without going mad. How much is a couple of missed notes likely to cost me? Are they expecting perfection on the assumption you can film it untill you get it right?Tweet
