Milhaud violin/viola works
What is the relative difficulty (or comparative) of Milhaud's violin and viola sonatas?
Do they feature on programmes a lot?
I only know the two viola sonatas, and the Quatre Visages, btr I have never worked on them.
There is a violin arrangement/adaptation of Boeuf sur Toit-- charming for a while, but it spends a long time snaking through every imaginable key. Not tempted to see if I can make it work.
Reminds me of last bit of movement 1 if St Paul's Suite
