GEWA Pure violin case

Edited: September 12, 2019, 9:10 PM ·

Just ordered and received two of these cases from Concord Music and Gewa. They're fantastic!

They're incredibly compact, quite light, and feature an adjustable neck block so they accommodate all sizes of violins 3/4-4/4. It's possible to put a small shoulder rest like a Viva La Musica with collapsible feet next to the scroll, and the backpack straps are really nice. The textured finish is resistant to scratching, and for $220 (less than half of a BAM) it's probably one of the best shaped hard-shell cases one can find anywhere at this price point.
