In the video at 10:50, Mr Itzhak Perlman was playing the melody, and with the rhythm itself, it is so familiar. Would any kind soul please tell me more about the melody? Is it an excerpt and what's the name of it? Thanks!

It's been 50 years since that video was made and a great testament to the tremendous talent of Jacqueline du Pré.

There is a JduP documentary with footage from the same time, where JduP and Barenboim go shopping for some music and when they exit the store with a bunch of scores the camera follows them as they walk down the street together and it's just such a moving picture of love, success and happiness (and the Sixties).

Moving as in touching.

I found this by googling "Schubert Trout Quintet Perlman, Jacqueline dePre"

I probably bought the DVD 20+ years ago.
