Tanglewood -- what is it like?

August 1, 2019, 9:38 PM · Hi everybody,
My cousin, who is nineteen, recently told me about his experiences at the two-week Tanglewood music camp. He plays the violin, like me.

I want to apply in January and send in a few recordings, but I'm a bit nervous on what the expected level is.

I'm fourteen and I understand the age limit is from 14-19, so I'll probably be part of the worse half. I just wanted to ask if anybody has ever been to Tanglewood, and if so, how was your audition/recording, and what level were you at when you got accepted?

If you could tell me a bit more on what the actual camp is like -- that would be great.

Thanks very much,
Jamie
