Practice Resource for Suzuki Book 1 and 2

July 28, 2019, 6:51 AM · A violin student and her brother at our music school have been putting together practice videos for young students in the early Suzuki books. It's a cute and motivational resource for families that are struggling to get their kids to practice. So far, a number of the younger students and families have been having a good time with it. I thought to share this here as some could maybe use it with their students. Here is a link to her channel on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMhfHkiRpV2JglgtPFkbGYA/featured

I was recently interviewed for one of their special episodes which is quite longer and more informative on the bow instead of a practice video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhGGWclGbwo

What do you think about this kind of practice resource, like creating practice videos for your students?

I don't teach Suzuki but sometimes I use pieces from the books. This is a lovely practice resource. I especially like the way she reiterates the composer's name and focuses on one specific practice point.
