Samuel Eastman vs Andreas Eastman violins?

July 19, 2019, 8:50 PM · Has anyone tried both, or can tell me the differences? I have a VL300 Andreas Eastman, which is decent.

Anyone know a seller of them where I can get an in home trial?

You can certainly find someone online who will send you one or two to try, but the set-up is everything. The set-up that they come with usually needs work for anything other than basic rentals.

Some of the older mdl 300s, especially the ones made of European wood, have aged quite well sound-wise and the shoe polish brown finish is easy to retouch with minimal skills.
