Apps again (sorry!)

July 6, 2019, 5:28 AM · Hello all,

I am sure to have seen threads like this before on this site but I can’t for the life of me find them right now.

I am wondering what your favourite apps are to help you in your studies, but to the teachers also in your teaching. Be it sheet music readers, notation software, intonation apps, tuners, metronomes, music theory learning apps, ear training, chord finders, recording apps, you name it.

The background is that my brother is currently programming an app that shows the relationship between the circle of fifths and the way finger patterns on the violin change with it to help with sight reading abilities and the understanding of basic music theory. I am helping him from a design/communication point of view so I am wondering what you would expect from an app like that and what you appreciate in other apps you use, be it because they are well made or because they really have helped you.

Looking forward to your replies :)
